How do I know if I need counselling? 

Counselling is a personal choice, there is no clear answer to this question.  If you often feel overwhelmed, distressed or upset then counselling could be beneficial for you. 


How will counselling help me? 

Speaking to a trusted counsellor in a safe environment can be an opportunity to identify and explore upsetting thoughts or concerns in your life. Over time this can lead to clarity, self awareness and a feeling of being in control. 
 


How regularly do people have counselling? 

Once a week initially is normal, but really, it’s all down to personal preference.
 


Who is counselling for? 

Anybody could benefit from counselling. It is key to find a counsellor that you are able to feel comfortable around and are able to build a relationship with.
